Who loves gifts? Cyclists, that’s who (and…pretty much everyone else)! I was so pleased to be able to work with Cycling Souvenirs on their rebranding, as their previous logo and “look” were definitely not fit for purpose. So, in collaboration with the new owner, I created the cog and ribbon logo and the brand identity. The brief was difficult, as the brand needed to appeal to men and women of a variety of ages, look modern and sophisticated, as well as that little bit retro. The end result is smart and stylish, using a rich burgundy shade and a dark, purple-navy. These colours are used throughout the website. The cog logo is really versatile, as it can be replicated as a pattern, or used as a little sticker to seal gift boxes – perfect!
I went on to create some cool and clean lifestyle photographs for Cycling Souvenirs, to coincide with the website launch. Once these had been done, I designed a nice layout for the homepage, based on a WordPress template provided to me.
Have a look! Cycling Souvenirs are always expanding their range, especially in the run up to Christmas, so keep an eye out for additions like custom little cyclists and exclusive mug designs (I’m working on that).
