Business cards designed for Scottish dressmaker, by Katherine Butler at Urban Reiver Graphic Design
Scottish Dressmaker | Card Design & Identity
March 25, 2016 By Urban Reiver

One of my favourite projects to date, this sweet business card design combined ideas from the client with my own illustrative style.  Whilst Catherine was not after a logo, she did need a recognisable identity, with which should could emulate across print and web in the promotion of her business. The problem with business cards […]

Logo Design | Speech & Language Consultancy
February 25, 2016 By Urban Reiver

I am always keen to get more involved in educational and well-being organisations, so when Marion got in touch with me to discuss her requirements for a brand identity promoting her language consultancy, this was just the project I was looking for.  As she would be promoting her services to schools, parents and P&T boards, […]

Magazine Design For Print | Hanna
January 29, 2016 By Urban Reiver

At the end of last year I was lucky enough to be involved in the creation of Hanna’s second printed version of their online magazine.  I was asked to create a cover design and lay out the internal text and illustrations. Short but sweet, this dinky A5 volume focuses on the subject of eating disorders, […]

Christmas Map of the World Illustration
January 7, 2016 By Urban Reiver

2015 has been such a great year.  I’ve had the opportunity to work on some really fantastic projects with amazing clients, so thank you to you all!  One of my favourite projects has to be this vibrant Christmas map of the world, created for the mobile app Wisher.  Not only are Wisher very cool guys, […]

Strong Female Role Models | Joan of Arc
November 12, 2015 By Urban Reiver

One of my favourite times of each month is when I get asked by Hanna to create an illustration from an article, story or report written by one of their female writers.  My most recent piece of art is my impression of Joan of Arc (or Jeanne d’Arc, if you’re rather particular) – she’s usually […]

Because Cyclists Love Presents
October 7, 2015 By Urban Reiver

Who loves gifts?  Cyclists, that’s who (and…pretty much everyone else)!   I was so pleased to be able to work with Cycling Souvenirs on their rebranding, as their previous logo and “look” were definitely not fit for purpose.  So, in collaboration with the new owner, I created the cog and ribbon logo and the brand […]

In terms of bang for buck Katherine packs a massive punch. Her work is professional, meticulous and incredibly on point. Katherine has a great eye for detail and understands how to deliver the right feel for the brand. Katherine excels in illustrative design and bringing concepts to life but she has a wealth of other skills up her sleeve. We hired her for a logo and she now runs most of the business! A genuine asset in a World full of people talking the talk. I look forward to working more with Katherine.
Tim Bland / Cycling Souvenirs
Katherine worked with me over several months to develop the look and feel of my brand. Her attention to detail and knowledge of current design trends brought a professional and contemporary edge to our visual material both online and in print. Not only has she had an impact visually on the brand, but she has also contributed to online content, writing blogs and putting together newsletter and social media campaigns. I am delighted with all that she has achieved thus far and will look for opportunities to work with her again in the future.
Kerry Kimber / Knitting For All Ltd
I briefed Kat in to help with our Christmas campaigns, after our first conversation I was assured that she could bring to life the vision we had. Her approach and design was faultless and she brought a real freshness (whilst maintaining our look and feel) to the brand. That was our brief and she also surpassed expectations by adding her magic.
Maz Cohen / Wisher
